The Oral Health Foundation is calling for the introduction of healthy drinks as...Woolton Village Day Nursery is a large, detached, Grade 2 listed building located in the heart of Woolton in Liverpool. It is situated in a residential area, close to shops, local schools, swing parks and a library. The grounds have been purposefully adapted to accommodate the children on the Early Years Register, who will follow the Early Years Foundation Curriculum. The setting provides a bright, friendly happy and homely atmosphere. The children are divided into three age groups, 0 - 2 years, 2 - 3 years, and 3 - 5 years. All rooms are designed to ensure that both equipment and resources are age appropriate, stimulating and challenging for the specific age group. The children also have use of our multi-sensory room. This room is used for key worker activities to allow small groups of children to engage in activities to enhance their sensory skills. This is supported through the use of different textiles, lights, smells, torches and a bubble machine. Staff will encourage the children to develop hand eye coordination and challenging experiences.
We as carers have a clear understanding that as parents your choice of childcare is one of the most important decisions that you may have to ever make. Therefore, it is our aim to meet your child's needs by providing a safe, secure, stimulating and fun environment that allows your child to be supported and encouraged in developing at their own pace.
