Job Role: Nursery Manager

I have been Manager of Woolton Village Day Nursery for the past 6 years, with a total of 11 years Nursery Nurse Experience. I have obtained qualifications in my NVQ Levels 2,3 and 4 along with a Foundation Degree in Management of Childcare provisions and A1 Assessor in Children’s Care Learning and Development.

Job Role: Deputy Manager

I have worked at W.V.D.N for 6 years as a Nursery Nurse, throughout my time here I have completed my NVQ levels 2,3 and 4 along with a Foundation Degree in Management of Childcare provisions. As Deputy Manager I work closely with the Nursery Manager in the day to day running of the nursery ensuring we maintain a safe secure and fun environment for all of the children in our care.

Job Role: Third in Charge – Head of 0 – 2 Years

I have worked at the nursery for the past 6 years were I have gained my NVQ Levels 2 and 3. After being appointed Head of our 0 – 2 Years room I then furthered my knowledge by attending a Team Management course which supported me to apply for the Position of Third in Charge were I was successful so have undertaken this role for the last 2 years. I help work alongside my colleagues in the day to day running of the nursery, dealing with parents and assist in the opening and closing of the setting.

Job Role: Nursery Nurse based in 0 – 2 years

I currently work in the 0 – 2 years room where I have been based for the last two years. I have my levels 2 and 3, along with my Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding training and Food Hygiene.

Job Role: Supervisor – Head of Pre School

I have been employed at the setting for the last 6 years where I have gained my qualifications awarding me a level 3 status. I am head of our Pre School room and have been appointed as a Supervisor since January of this year. I work alongside the Management team in the day to day running of the nursery and am also appointed S.E.N.C.O were I liaise with outside agencies to support the children and families on role.

Job Role: Nursery Nurse based in Pre School

I am a fully qualified level 3 staff member based in our Pre School room. I have trained in Paediatric First Aid, basic Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and Fire Awareness training.

Job Role: Nursery Nurse based in Pre School

I am a NVQ Level 2 staff member currently working towards my level 3. I am newly based in our Pre School room after working in the 0 -2 years for the last 6 months.

Job Role – Head of Toddlers

I have worked at the nursery setting for almost 5 years. During this time I have acquired my NVQ Levels 2 and 3 and have more recently took the position of Head of Toddler room and also on various courses during my time here and this has enhanced my knowledge in different areas.

Job Role: NNEB Nursery Nurse based in Toddlers

I have worked at the nursery for 8 years although I have a total of 10 years’ experience. My qualification is a Diploma in Childcare which I received from spending a total of 4 years in college. I am based in the Toddler room but enjoy working with all ages.

Name: Talitha

Job Role: Nursery Nurse based in Toddlers

I am qualified Level 2 currently working towards my level 3. I am based in our Toddler room where I have been for the last 18 months. I thoroughly enjoy working in the toddler room and enjoy helping support the children in their transition from room to room. I work closely with the parents in helping potty train the children offering support and advice when needed.

Job Role – Nursery Cook

As a Mum of 6 I have always enjoyed cooking wholesome foods for my children and grandchildren. My daughter Jemma who is the Manager of the nursery asked me to join the team temporarily, with me enjoying my job so much I am still happily here 5 years later making meals for all ‘of our babies’. I have gained my Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering. I thoroughly enjoy not only making all of my meals using fresh ingredients but they enjoyment of seeing all of the children eat and enjoy my meals. Parents will come and ask for copies of my recipes which makes me very proud.
