The children who attend our Liverpool Day Nursery are provided with three meals a day which are freshly prepared for by our on-site Cook Cathy, who holds a Level 2 qualification in food catering and safety. All meals comply with all dietary and religious requirements, whilst a two week menu is followed, this is changed seasonally.
With breakfast being the most important meal of the day we provide a variety of options including:
- Cereal and fresh milk
 - a selection of toast and fruit juice
 - Crumpets and milk
 - Fruit loaf and milk
 - Fresh fruit salad and natural yoghurt
 
By lunchtime we have worked up quite an appetite, to help us refuel for the afternoon we enjoy meals like:
- Chicken curry and boiled rice
 - Mexican tuna pasta bake
 - Leek and potato soup with crusty bread
 - Cottage pie served with mixed vegetables
 - Fish pasta in creamy mushroom sauce
 - Chicken stir fry
 
The children also enjoy making yummy puddings including this:
- Carrot cake
 - banana bread
